Promote Small Businesses

Scottsdale has long served as a bastion of opportunity for small business owners pursuing the American dream.

We need to lower the barriers to entry for aspiring entrepreneurs aiming to start their own ventures. In particular, I will pursue tax relief measures, deregulation, and policies that create a business-friendly economic climate.

Some of the ways I would like to see entrepreneurship encouraged through the public sector are via:

• Limited Government Oversight

• Tax Credits & Incentives

• Young Entrepreneurship Program(s)

• Networking Events

• Award Grants

I will ensure the City of Scottsdale incentivizes small business creation and promotes free enterprise, without ever serving as a roadblock to aspiring business owners in order to sustainably and responsibly grow our city's economy.
